How long does the grooming appointment last? Typically,1 1/2 hrs. for dogs/cats under 30 lbs, depending upon the cut and dog. Larger dogs take more time due to manuvering, deshedding, matting, drying time. Note: Any matted dog always takes extra time because the clippers do not go through the mats. Mats have to be worked out before continuing or they will need to be shaved.
Do you express anal glands? Yes when requested. If your dog's anal glands are swollen or irritated, then it is strongly recommendation of this Groomer that you take your dog to your vet for a checkup.
What if I have to cancel my appointment? Please call me as soon as you can to cancel your appointment so that I may be book another appointment in it's place.
Do you need to be home when I come to groom your dog/cat? It is not necessary however, that someone be at home the 1st time and perhaps the 1st few times, that I groorm your pets. Once a relationship is established with you and your pets other arrangements can be made for entry and payment.
Do you travel outside your designated zip codes/areas? Yes. However,I charge a $1 trip charge for anything over 10 miles each way.
Do you groom cats? Yes. I only ask that you be up front when describing your cats disposition, so I can make the proper assessment for the cats safety and mine.
